Pictorial decoration in “Chinoiserie” style of the 18th century inspired by Chinese tapestry in the "Stanza delle conchiglie" at the Palazzo Strozzi-Besso Rome. The paintings of the room’s walls represent melancholic and romantic landscapes of flora and fauna typical of the eastern world, with transparent herons with their open wings on still and emerald waters below. The paintings on the room’s wardrobes portray small branches of white chrysanthemums. The pictorial technique was realized with mixed antique earth tempera on a golden micaceous setting applied on the site.
